Dato' Lee Kok Kwan

Dato’ Lee Kok Kwan is presently a Board member of CIMB Group Holdings Berhad, CIMB Bank Berhad, Cagamas Holdings Berhad, Capital Market Development Fund (CMDF) and Bond & Sukuk Information Platform Sendirian Berhad. He is also a Non-Executive Director of RAM Rating Services Berhad, a Non-Independent Director of CIMB Investment Bank and a Independent Non-Executive Director of IGB Berhad.

Formerly CIMB Group’s Deputy Chief Executive Officer, his areas of responsibilities included corporate banking, transaction banking, treasury & markets (comprising the sales and trading businesses in interest rates, credit, foreign exchange, bonds, equity, commodities and their derivatives, treasury and funding for the Group), fixed income investments as well as debt capital markets which he built since joining CIMB in 1996 and had developed CIMB into the largest arranger in the ASEAN local currency bond markets for seven consecutive years since 2011 as well as the largest Sukuk arranger globally for many years since 2007 (rankings by Bloomberg).

Dato’ Lee was also the Vice-Chair of the ASEAN+3 Bond Market Forum which is established under the auspice of the ASEAN+3 Bond Markets Initiative and the ASEAN+3 Finance Ministers to promote development of cross-border activities in the ASEAN+3 local currency bond markets. Prior to joining CIMB, Dato’ Lee had more than seven years of markets and treasury experience in the Canadian banking industry. He was the Treasury Portfolio Manager responsible for interest rate and optionality risk and return for a leading Canadian bank and a member of its Senior Asset-Liability Management Committee. Dato’ Lee holds a BBA Joint Honours (First Class) degree and a Master in Business Administration from Simon Fraser University, Canada.

Mr Steven Choy Khai Choon

Mr Steven Choy Khai Choon is presently a Non-Independent Non-Executive Chairman of Zurich General Insurance Malaysia Berhad, Zurich Life Insurance Malaysia Berhad and Kenanga Investors Berhad. He is also an Independent Non-Executive Director of Hap Seng Plantations Holdings Berhad and MSM Malaysia Holdings Berhad, a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of Kenanga Investment Bank Bhd and a Board member of Asian Banking School. He is also a member of the Labuan Financial Services Authority (Labuan FSA).

Mr Steven Choy served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Cagamas Berhad from 2006 to 2012 and held directorships within Cagamas group of companies. Prior to joining Cagamas Berhad, he served various senior positions in the financial industry mainly in the areas of financial management, strategic planning and business development. He was the Regional Finance/Planning Director of Aviva Insurance Asia, Chief Executive Officer of Morley Fund Management Ltd, Aviva Insurance Group, Singapore and Senior General Manager, Group Head of RHB Bank Berhad.

Mr Steven Choy holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from University of New South Wales, Australia and a Master in Business Administration from Oklahoma City University, USA. He also attended the General Management Programme at INSEAD, France. Mr Steven Choy is a Member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants and a Fellow of the Australian Certified Public Accountants.

Ms Nor Hanifah Hashim

Nor Hanifah Hashim is currently Chief Executive Officer and Director of Franklin Templeton GSC Asset Management Sdn. Bhd. (“FTGSC”) and head of Malaysia business. She joined the firm in 2011 as head of Malaysia fixed income and in 2017, she had an added role as CEO to assist with the strategies and activities to increase asset under management, forge strong relationship with clients and potential clients, regulators, industry players and other business functions within Franklin Templeton as well as to further build the profile and branding of the company in Malaysia. She is also a Director of Franklin Templeton Asset Management Sdn Bhd.

Hanifah has over 28 years of experience in the financial industry and as the firm’s head of Malaysia fixed income and sukuk, she oversees fixed income in Malaysia, continues to manage domestic Sukuk funds and develops investment policies for the Malaysian market while working closely with the Franklin Templeton Fixed Income team in the Middle East on global Sukuk mandates and supports Franklin Templeton's global credit team.

Prior to joining Franklin Templeton, Hanifah started her career with a multinational company, Sime Darby Berhad as management trainee for 2 years. Subsequently in 1993, she joined the treasury department of CIMB Investment Bank as a Treasury dealer and over 18 years she has built her career in fixed income market with CIMB group, including as head of sales for fixed income. In 2005, she moved from treasury to the asset management arm of the group as executive vice president - head of fixed income. In this role she was the portfolio manager for the largest institutional fixed income client of the firm as well as portfolio manager for retail foreign currency funds that invest in non-Ringgit debt in Asia. She also provided investment oversight for the group’s fixed income business in Indonesia and Thailand.

Hanifah holds a B.S. in economics and international relations from University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA. She is a national member of Financial Market Association - Malaysia and obtained her Capital Markets Services Representative License (CMSRL) in 2004.
